When I click to open 1.4.7 and login, it asks if I want to update to 1.5. I click yes, and all I get is a message that says "Failed to launch (4); " then shows the path to minecraft.jar. Not sure what the problem is, but I have seen others posting here who have the same problem, and it seems most of them are using Mac's.
Has anyone else noticed things are... darker? At a given brightness setting, I used to be able to find my way around my mushroom island by moonlight, and see to the end of a 10-block tunnel. Now they're too dark to see, and the brightness slider doesn't seem to help much.

I did some CraftTweaker scripts for Mystical Agriculture. They fill in a couple of small gaps in MA, and also let you make or duplicate not only vanilla plants, but the blocks, plants and wood from Quark and Biomes O'Plenty. Also spawn eggs for most vanilla mobs! The scripts are here on Github.
yes but whats up with the texture packs been in options and not showing the items in that texture pack , have to say this is the worst update EVER that i have seen in mine craft and wish i hadn't updated it.

1- Finish the mod API
2- Give brains to villagers (make em more usefull)
3- Add ambiance: birds, fishes, bugs, crabs on beaches, monkeys in jungles...
4- More plants! Aquatic, any fruit tree, bushes....
5- Ambiant sounds!
