1.8.1; Hunger bar, first stupid additions like strongholds and the end, along with horrible world gen.
1.0; Idiotic villagers, strongholds, EXP, etc etc.
1.1; Jeb is useful for the first and last time ever, fixes the "no snow in taigas" bug, but ruins it by adding his idiotic "beaches", which are nothing like the beaches of the old times.
1.2; The jungle biome, new, and useless.
1.2.5; Okay, jeb was useful 3 times then; He added in the new wood blocks, which are quite nice.
1.3.whatever; Trading, jeb ruins the game for people with lesser computers and makes SSP run on a server, an idiotic decision. Also finally added in his idiotic little "Adventure mode" which isn't useful in the slightest. Overpowered his useless EXP system and made ores drop exp. Overpowered loot and added in un challenging desert pyramids from which you get diamonds and other stuff. Same goes for jungle temples. Ripped off the Ender chest mod and made an inferior version of it. Finally got rid of the purpose of gathering ice in the same update he let ice be gathered in.
1.4; Finally ruined the game, I won't even bother trying to list it all, just sum it up; Everything sucked. The end.
1.5; Killed it.
1.6; The "Kicking a dead horse" update. BADUM TSS!
dude. If you dont like this stuff DONT USE IT... you dont have to ruin everyone else's experience with your nonsense of "Jeb Killed Minecraft" Jeb didnt kill it. he made it 100x better. Minecraft would not be where it is without Jeb taking over. with these new and more regular updates Minecraft has become even MORE popular. They just hit 10 MILLION Sales. Mojang is one of the world's leading Indie game developers. Stop spouting nonsense.
It could be hinting at a new weapon system? mabie something similar to Terraria where every weapon when generated/crafted gets random extra little buffs/debuffs? We dont know. I do HOPE thats what it means.
Lame... first you make horse armor impossible to get without cheating for some players then you make them unstackable. Someone please fire dinnerbone before this game gets any more down the path of "Games that were great." The amount of retarded design decisions, IMHO anyways, that are being made is so far away from what made Minecraft great in the first place I find myself playing it less and less with each snapshot.
dude. if you dont like it dont use it. None of these descisions on the Dev team are "retarded". Minecraft is a SANDBOX game, Which means that you can do ANYTHING you want. If you dont want to use horses thats your choice. you would be stupid not to use them but hey whatever floats your boat. as for me? well i LOVE this update. throw in daggers/knives you can throw and i can finally become a Ranger from Ranger's Apprentice!
THERE IS A BUG THAT WAS NOT PRESENT ON THE LAST SNAPSHOT!... Your RUN is slower than your WALK >_> it's like you're shooting a bow or holding shift! Please help, thanks!
Still doesn't make Horses/Mules/Donkeys any more useful since we still have to find a dungeon that may or may not have a saddle in one of it's chests in order to ride one and you're basically screwed if your horse dies.
Just wanna clear up some confusion I noticed about resource packs. they are not to add custom items or things like that, they are the audio equivalent of texture packs.
It means you will need to get four D6's , roll them six times total , take the best three each time and put them in your STR , WIS , INT , DEX , CON and CHA stats!
