I am jazzed. Coloured hardened clay? I can imagine that there will be coloured wood and coloured glass just around that corner. Coloured flowerpots were just dancing across my mind!
With that said, the coloured harden clays seem to be muted earthtones-which is nice. Blue strikes me as more purple though. However, a whole load of ideas is scampering across my mind. I wondered if we were getting an alternate set of coloured blocks soon. May mean I can make houses that won't burn down if I add fireplaces <3

I like this update. However, I do wish to see more additions to the oh so bland oceans. They are, for the most part, just boring to go through since the only thing you can every hope to find are the occasional islands and the loads of squids floating around. Maybe add whales, fish, and seaweed. I would also like to see some improvement to the sky as well, and I don't mean re-textures or expanded height. More like something to look at when I look up into the sky. Maybe some flying (passive) mobs, since the only flying mobs at this point are the Blaze, Ghast, and Bat. As well, I hope to see a real use added to bats, since they have no drops and only serve to annoy and frustrate players.
Updates that add new building blocks are always my favorite. However, I am surprised to see dyed clay blocks, of all things, especially after the idea for dyed wood blocks apparently got vetoed.

I wish the the white stained clay was more white though, and the cyan stained clay had a tint of cyan.

I also wish the brown stained clay was darker and the grey stained clay wasn't so brown.
