Finally! We get colored.....stained hardened clay? ............ There are no words for the sheer stupidity I think that is. Don't get me wrong, I like it, but....really? They have the ability to make colored glass, I'd have settled if they added those in as well and made the next update a "Colorful Update."

I think they are talking about the bonemeal nerf from 1.5 where it went from taking one meal to grow crops to 7 then down to 2-3 and went from 1 meal for a tree (so long as it was in optimal conditions) to 3 then I think it takes 3-7 now... not sure on the exact numbers for trees... But that would make sense

Bonemeal was nerfed a while back so trees and crops don't insta grow anymore. Horse saddles were removed because it was redundant to have a saddle just for one specific mob when the old saddle could have been used.
The problem with tinted glass is that partial transparency is not very well supported by Minecraft at the moment. Just go back to 2.0 and look at the graphical glitches. I'm pretty Mojang simply don't want to add a feature which doesn't even work currently.
