Anyone else have a problem with Endermen? Running the snapshot, when I hit an Enderman with an iron sword, the Enderman teleports away and I no longer have a sword. No "hit" sound, so I presume no damage. I've lost 2 swords this way.
I tamed a horse then i decked it out with full diamond armor and whenever your riding your tamed horse it lags but you know its in early alpha but this is a truly amazing update i cant wait
Anyone else notice you can't use the launcher offline? that means no snapshot playing without internet. Also, minimising the Minecraft window closes Minecraft. Not fun.

That's actually a good thing because it will prevent people from tormenting or steating the game.

Why would people torment Minecraft? And I don't even know what steating is.
But seriously, always-online DRM is not a good way to fight piracy. It's a good way to anger your customers. That said, anybody who is playing a non-paid-for version of Minecraft deserves to have their ability to play hindered as much as possible.
So the new one can NOT be played offline? The resources for the game are ENTIRELY stored on Mojang's server? Is that what you guys are saying? Does he plan to release an offline mode for the new client, or is part of the new client going to be always forced online play to prevent piracy?
Knowing jeb's shoddy coding, it'll be out next week. And sensible people like me won't care about it.

Old MC was so much better..... good terrain gen, no useless junk, and building something nice was 50x more satisfying.
