Welcome, ladies and non-ladies, to yet another custom map adventure. What you see before your eyes is a picture of the Castle of Madness, ruled by yourself.
That's right: You are the Monarch of Madness. King of the unstable, leader to insanity, czar of craze - call it as you like. However, not everything is completely whack here, as there is still an easy to follow story in front of you. Fifty years ago, you went to sleep, but why exactly? You know not. All there is left of your past presence are a few notes written by your butler, who took care of you a long time ago.
In this video, David and Pico walk through this crazy map, and briefly touch on it as well. Want to try it out yourself? Click the link below!
So why are you posting here? If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything unless you have a specific correction that you think would make it better! I think it looks fairly neat myself and I might give it a try myself here shortly (and I do not play maps, as a general rule, so that's saying something!!!)!

Define Cute (choose 1): A) Creepers Aerbunnies C) Herobrine. If you chose A): You appeal to destruction and to stereotypes. If you chose B): You are a perfectly normal person, and enjoy the Aether Mod. If you chose C): Please leave the planet now before you set off a nuclear warhead--no one enjoys mass murders, however nice they might seem to you.

Doesn't matter, mate! I've had plenty of comments that were constructive, and I love those. But I still really like positive comments that are in no way constructive! If I decided to refuse negative comments that weren't constructive either, I'd be hypocritical! If you enjoy it yourself though, or even if you don't, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the thread afterwards!
It just shows how great content keeps it's originality and quality even a year later , congrats again on the spotlight.
I've never came across this adventure map before , i'm sure a lot of other players missed out.
Cheers,
And thanks for the kind words! I know lots of people have still never seen or heard of it, but being foolish like I am, I keep assuming they did and that by now, people are sick of it. I should have learned by now that the Minecraft community is much wider than anyone can imagine!
What in the WHAT!? WHAT!!?
So, yeah... I just finished the Castle of Madness. But the door... the one door that led to... the... spoiler alert. XD
All in all... This is the first adventure map that caught enough of my interest that I actually followed it all the way through. I suck at combat though... so I kinda put the whole map on peaceful. Don't blame me, blame Ubuntu; the mouse is very. . . picky.
I love this map.
Replay value: I'd do it again anyday.
Architecture: Da best of da best I ever dun seen.
Difficulty: Ever played "Metroid Fusion?" Yeah, this starts easy and get progressively harder. It's like training a pokemon.
Did I mention I love this map?

Curse PremiumA little over one year old, yes! Seriously thought that a spotlight was an impossibility at this point, with how old it is and all... But nope!
Oh well, won't complain about it!

And I REALLY don't like it! You'd think I would, after playing it 20-something times, but nope! Lost its shine in my eyes.
