Please elaborate pig riding instead of adding new land mountable mob.
Adding horse will slowly kill the feel.
Meh, horses don't seem very unique.... I guess it's because we can already ride pigs, and I feel they will under develop the horse like they kind of did for the other passive mobs. I would like to see a (fingers crossed) bit of improvement in current mobs as well as some...."minecrafty" features in the horses.... At the moment, I say neigh to horses

1.5 was the redstone update. They haven't said (to my knowledge) what 1.6 is going to be. What if it's going to be the animal update? If they're working with the Mo' Creatures guy, then maybe we're going to see a TON of new animals, and horses will just be one of them.
I will never understand the absolute, utter hatred people have towards updates. I paid like $20 or less for this game and I've been playing it for years. That's a fantastic return for my investment. And all you people can do is complain.
Its great to see a person here who's not a total tool. Thanks for giving me a shimmer of hope in humanity. I paid the same amount and have absolutely played this game and got more from it than any other big $60 game.
Well. Congrats to Mojang. But no I don't necessarilly support horses. I'm not gonna go on about how they're worthless, cause they could be used. But with pigs I don't see a huge point.
Rideable cows doesn't seem horrible...I'd find it interesting to where if you ride one they go outta control (increases chances of falling off cliffs) almost like when you punch a cow.
We'll see. I thought I'd be disappointed with Redstone Update but it wasn't horrible.

Also, just to point out, several people here have said that the modder behind Mo'Creatures helped. Doesn't the horse in Jeb's pic look a LOT like the Mo'Creatures' horse? Isn't it possible they gave him a snapshot, he/they ported his mod to it (or at least the horses part), and jeb took a pic riding a horse? (to answer my own question, yes, it is) That would still be v1.6, so it wouldn't be a lie that the pic is from the next update, and would mean Mojang is trolling us, like they always do. That's just my speculation, though.
