No! We don't need horses, unless they have some advantage over pigs!
You probably will be able to either store things in the saddle or use items (Bow sword etc) while riding. They will also be faster than players. Pigs were slow and VERY few people actually traveled by pig.
I love the new features being added to Minecraft. The best part about the addition of features though? You don't need to use them if you dislike them. I think Wolves are annoying as hell, so I don't use them often, but, the idea of having tamable attack dogs is an awesome concept. I may not be awesome at redstone, but even I can see that sunlight detectors, weighted plates, and trapped chests offer more ways to perform unique interactions with the game. Horses would be an awesome addition, because its just a pain to travel far between point on the map without either a minecart track, or a portal. What if you don't want to build for a week making tracks, or switch dimensions?
This actually reminds me of something a guy in web design said to me. He explained that ideally, the user should have about three ways to do any one thing. Now I'm off-topic. I'm done, that thoughts over, lol.
Horses are redundant, since we can already ride pigs. On the other hand, I'd really like to see infinite height in this update. If not this one, then I don't know when.
Congrats on making it to 10 million! That's quite an achievement *claps loudly*
I'm looking forward to having horses in the game and I'm positive both my children will enjoy having horses as well. Sometimes the needs of the many outway the needs of the few. JMO please don't hunt me down for my opinion

Horses? That's not a bad idea. I just hope they add a recipe for saddles, that would be handy. The recipe could be like the recipe for a boat but with leather instead of wood. And I hope the horses would be a lot faster than pigs and wouldn't need a fishing pole with a carrot to steer them.
u have got to be kidding me 1.6 NYOOOOOOOOOO I am working on a mod and now I have to update it again (I started in 1.4.7) now this is torture GRRRRR Nah I'm fine if I need to update my mod I WILL
im assuming (Whether its true or not) that you thought i meant all redstone is crap. I know redstone has added a lot but daylight sensors? seriously? and trapped chests and weighted pressure pads? thats pretty silly to add I guess the redstone update isnt THAT bad but its pretty pointless. remember this is just my opinion im not gonna take it to Mojang or anything
Im just saying this is how it's being directed; in a similar manner to what jagex did with runescape? i never said that runescape was a sandbox adventure game? nor did i say that jagex is mojang? im just saying mojangs acting the same as they did? its all a matter of my opinion? Are you punctuationally confused.
Why are you saying everything as if it was a question? Is this how you always talk?
Support this now!
