I must have great luck with updates because the 2nd time in a row my first game created landed me underwater. If anyone wants the seed I'll post it. Otherwise good update. Not sure if they adjusted the drop rate on apples depending on difficulty but i was at 5 apples in a short amount of time. :steve_wink:

1.5.1 should be coming tomorrow (if that's what you mean by a full release).

I've never had very good FPS with Minecraft, but my FPS has gotten much worse since I started back before Minecraft left Beta. Even with all the "performance improvements" they've been doing.

Srsly. I can barely work on large builds without lag. Tried making a test Let's Play video to try out XSplit and I ended up lagging out the wazoo. (May have been because of XSplit, but considering I ran League of Legends just fine [barring the fact that they were sharing an internet connection at the time], I'm blaming Minecraft for the majority of the lag.)

Minecraft 1.5.1 Pre crash when try get in nether from portal - multiplayer.

I stick to Minecraft 13w11a (This is better than 1.5 due to Fps improve) for a while when new stable 1.5.1 without pre come out tomorrow to test again.

I know so many bugs on minecraft all times and annoy us all times still like Alpha or Beta.

Deaf and hard of hearing people use American Sign Language (ASL) by use hands. Deaf and hard of hearing people use Purple, Sorenson and Zvrs to chat with friends, family and everything in US only.

Did anyone else have the 1.5 update that keeps crashing on mac os x 10.5.8. then try to install the 1.5.1 snapshot but when after logging in you get stuck on a done loading screen? please help! i cant play minecraft. and i never played in like 3-4 days.

I agree, this release seems to have fixed the performance issues I was having. Might actually be able to run an hd texture pack again

Performance-wise 1.5.1 seems to definitely be a step up from 1.5 for me, but I keep running into a fatal error, as soon as I make a crafting bench. As soon as I craft it, and click to drag it to my hotbar, I get the following error:

There's some sort of minecart collision bug. Have a look at these 3 screenshots. The first shows me right after I place a cart on the track. The second is after I right-click on the cart, and you'll see how high I am, and I never settle to a point where I can actually right-click that button. Also, when I swing my sword at that height, I actually hit and remove the minecart from the track. The third is what it's supposed to look like. The only way I could get to the proper height for the third was to run-push the cart and hop in, then ride it to the other end, then ride it back, and that had me at the right height.

Somewhat random for me as well. This last attempt made a crafting bench, full set of cobble tools and torches, no problem. Then got the crash when attempting to craft two furnaces.
Not sure if related, but I craft in patterns/groups. For example loading 6 planks to craft a table then 4 sticks, or 16 cobble for 2 furnaces. Loading multiple cobble to craft the tools in succession didn't seem to cause an issue though, so who knows.

My java was updated this evening as well =/

Anyways, time to call it a night, but have to say I am looking forward to 1.5.1 if my FPS stays where it has been =)

Que du beug et toujours du beug. Franchement Mojang devrait très rapidement changer de moteur. Java apporte plus de problèmes qu'autre chose. A chaque mise à jour c'est le même cirque. Le jeu est mit en ligne sans être testé ou quoi ? Pour peu que l'on rajoute 2-3 mods correctement configurés, ce n'est que du plantage à la chaîne.

Jeb si vous lisez ceci : Le jeu ne fait pas 5 TeraOctets alors s.v.p. changez de moteur avant que ce ne soit trop gros. Réécrivez le, vous trouverez vos beugs. Comme dans le jeu, l'idéal est la démolition pour une meilleur création...

They really should change the engine but it will be a hard task and will take a longer time about 5 months to translate the code to another language and should work perfectly the same as Java Minecraft.
