I personally chose Farlanders, because of the personal ties to Minecraft (the farlands being the outermost areas of a Minecraft world, where the random chunk generator starts to get a bit wonky. I like the idea of these alien creatures hailing from a place far enough away to be completely foreign, but still close enough to be recognizable as a creature.), however it appears Endermen (Refering to the internet meme Slenderman, who shares a similar appearance with the new enemies) will win out, and I am cool with that name.
I just find it funny how the a lot of the posts appear to be either "Farlanders sound cool!" or "Endermen is a better name, why is Farlanders a choice?".
Enderman or Farlander? Enderman, because it's more ominous, and it has a good "ring" to it. But whatever these things are officially named, they will still scare the crap out of me...
Endermen for sure. Also I wanted to say that the way the MinecraftWiki described them they remind me of the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who. I believe these will be the most scary mob in the game by far. Endermen is more creepy then Farlanders
Gives more of a reason to get pumpkins anyway. But the only reason they said they should be called farlanders is because in the farland is basically the end of the map but not the end at at the same time. Not many people have been to the the farlands which is why other people say that name, because they look like they could have come from the farlands.

in the farlands everything is all streched and messed up so it could be the creatuers did it so they could live there that may be y
its a good idea but there is a far lands not an endlands so i think farlanders would fit better because notch called it farland not endlands
