there probably harmless because one of the purples are not going after the player and also the gas might hurt you so stay away and it looks like they are not biome suspicific

farlander cant be used its already taken, and the farlands are already known as the farlands, you can keep going out into the farlands, there is no definite end. so it wouldnt make sense to call it the end, basically its going to stay as notch wants, the mobs name is endermen, and the farlands will stay the farlands, dont bother petitioning, he isnt gonna change it people.
I love the Slenderman meme, and now that they may be changing the farlands to the End Lands, well, Endermen has my vote. Spooky name to go with the spooky look.
TBH, these mobs sound like a horribly shitty addition to minecraft. I'll probably not be updating to 1.8, thanks. Minecraft isn't supposed to be creepy and unnerving, for ****'s sakes.
i got an idea notch should add em into the nether and they work in groups like zombie pigmen here's my thought if you build a portal and go in and get what you need and back that's OK but here's the trick you need to turn off the portal otherwise Endermen/Far Landers will go into the portal then come into the real world and start destroying block by block and their powers should be something along the lines of darkness and poison and the only way to cure it is killing one of them that carry an antidote or destroying shrubs and making some herb (non-drug related. Also we must tell notch to add villages villagers more animals like Mo' Creatures mod there's so many things that needs improvement.
