Endermen has got my vote.

Endermen!

Has anyone realized their in a NPC village?

Why do people even want it changed? Notch wants a creepy mob, the slenderman is creepy, endermen are creepy

Does anyone else notice how the crosshairs are on that enderman, but he isn't staring? Maybe it has something to do with that pumpkin?

I like farlander, it invokes images of the Far Realm from Dungeons and Dragons, in addition it gives these guys a little back story, alien beings from the farlands, a place where the world itself is twisted. Plus enderman is too much like slenderman. Yes I know that's the idea, but really, we're just dropping 2 letters? Feels to easy, too much like a rip-off that way.

Endermen is better than Farlander. Farlander implies that they're an intelligent being. It doesnt look like these guys know much.

farlander sounds like a species wich you can find far from spawn and it kinda reminds me of a character from one of the narnia books wich was a long legged swamps living guy kinda makes me think of him and the name farlander has a more connection to that

I prefer Endermen/Enderman over Farlander. Though it makes me think of Ender from the book of the same name.

But I think they will end up with a nickname. They remind me a bit of the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who, which can't move when you're looking at them. The first episode to introduce them was called "Blink". That, coupled with the reported teleporting ability these guys will have (moving in the "blink" of an eye) I think a good nickname would be:

BLINKIES

"Dude! I'm staring down a blinky! Get over here and help me!"

I say farlanders. for some reason, endermen seems too "meme"-ish.

What's up with the lighting in this? seems a little....BRIGHT.ANYWAYS, well It'll give wearing a pumpkin a use other than being silly If they implement this.
