Strange, I expected more people to vote for farlander. I think it's a better, more original name over all. Not just some silly reference. And it makes sense with Minecraft.
I like Farlanders. While Endermen sounds cool, its a rip off of Slenderman. We already have the Far Lands, so Farlanders suggest they originally originated there. Plus, the Far Lands are already pretty mysterious, so having a mysterious mob from there adds to the mystery of it all.
If "Endermen" are gonna be their names, then Minecraft needs to replace the "greeting line" that shows up on the main screen that says "Meme-free" or "Free of memes" or whatever.
The Far Lands are an actual place in Minecraft. Let Minecraft stand on its own without putting some meme in there.
Farlander sounds like what The Humungus might call "Mad" Max Rockatansky in Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior.
