I don't know why they would rename the enderman...

Besides Notch is joking he would rename farlands to the end instead if this happened....


But anyway my answer is both cause it all sounds a little far away to me.

I think they should be called:
Misirtus (Misirti for plural).
BUT:
ONLY if they are not to become Endermen.

In case you're wondering how I got the name, I took the words 'Ghost Builder', put it into a latin translator, and combined them in my own special name. You might call it uncreative, but you have to admit, you never would have known if I hadn't told you.

Farlander

If you look at the houses they look identical to the npc village houses... maby endermen/farlanders live there.

I don't really think it's right to vote on the name something before we know what it does. If it's a sinister mob that's meant to be dangerous and scary then Endermen fits. But if it's aliens from a far away land and not necessarily hostile then Farlanders fits it. But since they look pretty creepy and like they really could "end" you I voted Endermen.

Farlander, it gives the mob a more... how you say, mysterious feel to it. Since the name is so vague, many things could be asked about it. Where did it come from? Why did it come here? Why don't they like to be looked at? Why do they move blocks? The questions just build upon how weird these are. Other than Endermen, where everyone knows what it is referencing and doesn't add as much mystery as the name Farlander.

HECK YEAWH! Endermen! Because I can call them Slendermen too.
Hopefully they don't slap you with those noodle arms of theirs as an attack O_O.

I don't really care (but I voted farlander) because I am not really getting what they are supposed to do, i'm not sure if I am going to like this new mob or not...

Endermen sounds much more ominous, even if it is just a shortened version of Slendermen (isn't that where the inspiration for them comes from, anways?).

Given the choice, I would much rather Notch change the name of the Farlands to The End than change the name of the new mob from Endermen to Farlanders.

Endermen sounds a lot more creepy, so that's my vote.
