I forgot to mention
1. i decided to grief the endermen because they troll me on a regular basis.
2. no nether portal in the end
3. some sort of hideout that spawned near my portal to the end.
4. ^
5. "The water is a bit different. Can you tell?"
For people complaining that the sun and moon aren't square anymore, they are. They are sphere like shapes made out of squares just like most of you approximate curves when making buildings at times. Having moon phases is far more interesting than worrying about having a block sun/moon combo, and offer up the potential for phase related events within the game itself while block celestial entities are at this point nostalgia at best.
And for those complaining about 1.9 pre-releases. The more people bug testing every little addition that they come out with, the faster things are fixed and implemented. They have a release date that they are working hard to meet and if you want everything ready for it you can either help out or play 1.8 and wait patiently. Or do as I do and simply wait.
And for Notch/Jeb. Bug testing would probably go a lot faster if we had change logs with the update instead of people having to hunt for them or have twitter feeds mentioned in random threads. Honestly I'm not sure at all why they aren't included. Doesn't have to be complete, but it would let people test more efficiently. Also, great job and I look forward to getting addicted again as a gift since the release is just a day or two before my birthday
Since I noticed some haven't thought too logical about the "offical" 1.9 release....
Notch has stated, and quote:
"Me and Jens have only two more major features we want to implement before the release in November. The plan it to stop all new development on October 18, and resume them again after the release on November 18. That will give us one month to focus on just fixing bugs, cleaning up the code, and optimizing the performance to make sure the release will be as good as possible."
This means that they will be constantly updating UNTIL OCTOBER 18! Which means, after the 18th, I'm going to speculate that one of two things might happen:
1. Official release of 1.9, buggy or not.
2. It will stay as 1.8.1 and only 1.9.4 pre-release will be as a download (or 1.9.5 if they release something else in the next few days before stopping development.)
creepers used to ruin worlds, then notch realized it was a bad idea.
later on endermen started ruining worlds, and notch realized it was a bad idea.
now he finally gives us the long awaited dragons we've heard about for so long and the only think he can think of having them do is... ruining worlds.
i'd rather worry about fire like i used to, old fire was fun and it only destroyed renewable resources, now i'm not even worried when i see it but i feel like i have to play on peaceful ever since endermen came out since unlike creepers i can't just "avoid them". i'd be more happy about these prereleases too if they hadn't ruined my old maps
i think the only thing i'm really happy about for some reason are the cauldrons, am i the only one that loves those things? i don't even care if they ever do anything, my kitchens and bathrooms are still forever grateful~
When I click the link i get a page with random numbers and letters
But i can download it :sad.gif: :sad.gif: :sad.gif:
help?

Oh and I'm soooooo enjoying the enchanting stuff and potions. I just hope to find out more about it soon. I really wanna see the NPCs and the Mushroom stuff finished. I have yet to find a mushroom biome in any of my worlds. Just my luck eh? :tongue.gif: lol
Just tried out the End. Using the Eye of Ender to find strongholds worked out way better than I thought it would. The end is awesome and filled with Enderma, and from what I saw it doesn't have a floor. You just fall into darkness. I tried to take on one Enderman and it annihilated me. I even used a strength potion. The problem I had with killing them is that they teleport so fast now its almost impossible to hit it. Overall I think this is awesome.
;D what achievement have you got?

Hope this answers that question lol.
