They are testing the game to find the bugs, it is actually really cool that Notch and Jeb release these tests to the gamers and not a testing panel. If you don't want to help them test it, then stick with 1.8 and let the rest of us have our fun trying something new. I actually had someone ***** to me about calling "1.9 pre-release 3", "1.9.3". Get a life.

Is is just me or it still says "Prerelease 3" even after the update?
When you dragged the .jar into the minecraft file are you sure the new one was "minecraft.jar" without anything else after that? If it's not simply rename the file to "minecraft.jar" and it should work.
the sun now goes from east to west instead of north-south and there are moon phases :smile.gif:
You mean they've adjusted the direction the sun travels so that the previously incorrect definition of North is now correct? :wink.gif:
I guess that's one way to do it... Is there really a reason why "north" has to be defined as the direction it is in the code? Can't "F=0" just be redefined to mean "East"* and the Minecraft planet's rotation** left alone? :smile.gif:
I guess now I'm almost glad the world with my giant obsidian sun dial is gone... Hehe not really.
* or whatever the right facing value is.
** or Sun's movement, depending on if Minecraft is a helio- or geo-centric universe.
I made a short video on the new "THE END" realm. Of course there are no legit dragons atm, but I'm working on a new video atm about it. In the meantime, enjoy this video I made :smile.gif:

It's disappointing. I wish I could actually play it.

You're going to have to put the class files in the zip file inside the jar file instead of replacing it wholesale. No idea what causes that.
