To any user, 30,000,000 blocks is practically infinite.
In theory, MC on the PC does have infinite worlds as the blocks continue on past the boundaries the player can explore. Although, 60,000,000 blocks by 60,000,000 blocks is near enough to infinite in terms of exploring/building. Try watching this as it provides far more exact information about the size of PCMC worlds. Happy mining!
On another note, anyone know when the change log for TU9 will be released? I know i saw item frames in the video and that alone makes me very pleased.

I wouldn't count on it. The PC guys can't even work out the lighting glitch without getting distracted with some new idea(Seriously, attention deficit much, Mojang?). No doubt the PC will remain different with its own unique things, but it won't get the Xbox features that would be appealing also to the PC crowd.
The lighting bug was fixed ages ago. But they can't apply it to the game, as it causes performance issues. They have to re-write the entire rendering engine to fix it perfectly. Not exactly an easy task.
Call me crazy, but was that netherwart growing randomly in soulsand and not just the nether fortress? (Look about 0:56)
I read the change log because I have no life, and yes, Nether Wart can now...or will when TU9 is released...grow in the over world and on random spots of Soul Sand in the Nether.
We do, just check their inventories(bottom left) @ 0:58 (58 secs)
Also middle bottom what is with all that glass?

Might as well be. If you were to use the same world and never make a new one. You will NEVER run out for resources. Try this with xbox...
