If you were gonna do that, than you should've of just shouted out the guy who did the video. But now the guy who made this mod is gonna get a lot of hate. And that's never something good. Just something to consider.

The possibility exists that I might have wanted to spotlight not the mod, but a user-made video about the mod. Just something to consider. :wink.gif:
I see. The video is good. It's quick and informative and has a voice-over that arguably out-awesomes Sacheverell's. (That's hard to do.) But aren't there any new good videos about good mods?
I think the seed mod answers a legitimate need: give more ways to use to a one-function item that tends to pile up. But it goes too far, unless you want to make exploring and spelunking obsolete. I like the idea of being able to burn seeds as fuel, but one handful of seeds having twice as much fuel power as a stick or sapling is unbalanced; half as much would be more like it. Seeds as chicken feed would also be an appropriate use, one this mod doesn't include. Most of the mod is crafting recipes, ranging from reasonable to nonsensical, any of which could be custom-defined in Zombe's recipe mod.

This mod sucks. Why does this crap get on the mcforum front page. There are so many better mods than this. This is one of the bad mods. AND THIS GETS SPOT LIGHTED!?!?!?!?!?! (curse sucks)
Since this mod is so terrible surely you can make a better one. So please do, and when you post it, if you have a chance to get on the front page sit back and read the comments from arrogant people like you, as your hours of work get criticized by people that have nothing to show for themselves.
TL;DR: If you have nothing nice to say simply don't post and move on.
I'm never convinced by the argument of "do it better yourself". What it tells me is that the person making the argument doesn't think criticism is helpful. The truth is that criticism is necessary for the improvement of ideas.
I see your point The_Battousai, and I agree, but this guy "Breather_The_Great" didn't say anything helpful, basically he said "This mod sucks and so does curse" .. If he gave a few ideas or ways to improve it would be great, but he didnt
I'm all for seeds doing more than piling up in chests, but a lot of these recipes make little to no sense to me. For example, slime balls don't need a recipe. They can easily be acquired naturally from slimes; so much so that they can easily pile up in chests almost as much as seeds do. Other recipes - like vines, lily-pads, or grass - are ludicrous considering that shears and bonemeal are capable of getting you these items.
