I'd love to see skelly armour. Imagine Steve running around with a skull on his head.

"We have normality. I repeat, we have normality. Anything you still can't cope with is therefore your own problem."-Douglas Adams, Hitch hikers guide to the Galaxy.
Maybe a fireplace block with animated flames that can be made larger or smaller. Solving the problems for wooden houses forever!!!
Also carpets/rugs could be fun, you could use grass or something in the crafting table to weave them together or possibly get fur from some kind of mob and then dye it to different colours. It would make floors a bit more interesting.
Window frames?
A ton of people have said tables and chairs which would be nice but probably wouldn't have any use. I like the table idea more than the chair one though. the classic "stair-and-signs" approach makes people think more creatively but there is no way of actually making a realistic looking table. fences and pressure plates just don't look good
You could add a chandelier block and making string able to stand vertically as a rope or something to make nice lighting (no more glowstone monsters hanging from fences)
pebbles: 1 cobblestone or gravel makes 4 of them. could be placed around for extra texturing, running beside paths to make them look nicer and possibly thrown (half heart of dmg?)
I would also like to see some more redstone stuff please!!!

Make Random cow skulls and ribcages spawn in the desert xD
The heads are a nice touch. Now only if we could get the rest of the body and have them orient themselves like pistons. No more meat and bones in a chest for adv. maps, instead a skeleton body laying on the ground.

Maybe wool, you could turn it to yarn? Grass just seems silly.
protective ocelot heads so if u a dog person u can still have protection! (although i love seeing cats spaz out on beds
how do you get those achivement things
I've wanted to have decoration blocks like this for a while. I did end up stumbling onto a mod that gave mob heads to hang on the wall, but I didn't like that too much. THIS on the other hand, this seems awesome. I can't wait for these
I like where this is going, I like it a lot. This, the wip block, command block, wood buttons, trap door on top, wither, adjustable flat land, corner stairs, invisibility, night vision, item frames, dye-able armor and dog collars, cobble walls, controllable pigs, mobs with armor and weapons...
But I don't like where the villagers are headed... I don't like. I mean, the whole trading Idea is okay, and the villager zombies are kind of good, seems like a good idea, but I personally don't like the whole emoticon deal, maybe they should get rid of that and make them passive-aggressive, but it seems there changing the villagers just a little to much, in my opinion.
But I think they'll make it good. They listen to their community, I know i'm not the only one thinking this, but, they seem to make every thing great at the end, they never failed to do that.
Enderman head that has dark green eyes when no electrical current is in there, and bright green when it's there, along with a small amount of lighting (Redstone torch)
hmmm ideas..
~ dyeable beds would be cool so they wont clash with the carpet
~ torches or holdable lamps that light as you walk and/or place them on ceilings
~ Chair, table, stool, ect would always be nice
~ Slabs that are vertical not horizontal, that way your house could be bigger inside X3
~ torches placeable on the back of stairs?
~ wallpaper, or paint a side of a block one colour
~ combine chests that are placed ontop of each other into a wardrobe
~ mixing slabs (like placing a wooden one on a stone one to make the full block)
~ shelves mod is epic
so much more but thatll do
I like these Ideas a lot, Mushrooms going on the walls of caves, and to through something in with that, glowing mushrooms, and I don't really like the wall paper idea, But paint-able walls would be great! I like the more storage Ideas, too. Everything with the slabs seems like great ideas, and dye-able beds add more to the customization. And, The hold-able torch/lantern idea, and the furniture ideas are great, but have been ask for constantly by the community and have yet to appear, but they really should be implemented.
But so was 1.3.

You're pretty ignorant; many people asked for mob head decorations.
