My second post to ideas to jeb! -Place the wither on the nether fortress, make a single place for the wither, he will be the boss of the nether -Add a mob on the nether called ''Warter'' he are too slow, and spawn on soul sand, he drops nether wart. when he hurts you, you will have the postion effects: weakness 1 and slowness 2 -Add a new mob, called: ''Demon'', he holds a golden sword and are faster, similiar to pigmans, but they are hostile, not neutral. *Add a new block, called: ''Ghast's eye'', when you kill a ghast, the ghast will drop his block. Pls guys, make this post up for jeb see! :3
I will not be spawning in the Nether.
I live in my own world, and am far supurior than the Enderdragon. Therefore I live in a world far supurior than that of the Enderlands, or the Nether.
Heres an idea for a decoration a fire pit, think about it place a pattern of 2x2 torches so a total of 4 on the ground and they should combine into a firepit? it would look amazing inside homes and out and give light?
1.3 didn't add too much new content. 1.4, on the other hand, looks awesome.
Wheat Blocks- They will make farms look more realistic. They could be rotatable like logs, so you can use them to make a roof.
Flamethrowers- You can activate it with redstone. Useful for dungeons.
Pianos, Harps, and Drums- You can use it to play music. Maybe we can use flutes, trumpets, ect. as portable instruments!
Tape Recorders- You can find tapes in dungeons. When you place a tape in this block, it will play the mob's sound when activated with redstone.
Paths- You can use dirt, sand, gravel, and cobblestone. It's a 3D block, but you can walk through it.
TVs and Cameras- Based off of the unused block in PE. When you place a camera, use redstone to connect it to a TV.
Computers- You can check the time and weather, but that's not the only thing; You can make your own websites, and all players are able to view it on their computer! If you don't like Multiplayer, you can buy blocks and items online. There could even be a database similar to Minecraft wiki, showing crafting recipies, mob behavior, and more!
Console- Simply hook it up to your TV. You can play minigames on it.
Coal- Similar to paths, but you can warm it up. Hot coal slowly damages the player! If you use redstone, the damage rate is increased!
I want to see colored glass that is made via dying sand with the current dyes then smelting the colored sand into that color glass. It would make better statues that if you want to make into a house, you can make the eyes into glass instead of wool where you cannot see from. It would also make a better sand/sandstone sculpture.
I would love to see things like flower vases (water, flower, jar), some kind of hanging light source (chandelier), planting pots (because don't get me wrong, grass block plus hatch is awesome and all, but...), and window shades (acting something like ladders but looking prettier!)
Finally, something I can put in my Epic Minecraft Collection shelf..! It's a bit dusty though, but once they release these decoration blocks, my shelf will be even more epic to begin with!
Wow this looks great! keep up the good work mojang.
hmm... what would I like to see in the game?
well of course chairs, tables work well as pistons but what we really need is sit down chairs. nothing too complex, you right click it and it makes you sit like in a mine cart
lanterns, you could hold them and they would provide small light, and they could also be hung from the ceiling(something I've wanted that wouldn't work for torches) the would provide a little more light than torches also, but not as much as glowstone
landmarks, these would show up on maps with a special Icon
custom designable wool patterns
bookshelf's would be crafted empty and could store up too 4 books (written or blank) each replacing a quarter of the empty texture with the full texture
mirrors, these would be really cool to have, and would be a great decoration block.
any block could be worn as a hat or even a shirt? if zombies can why shouldn't we?
All we know is that there is a skeleton head (smaller than usual) and that there will be more similar decorational blocks. Its probably mob heads but we don't know that yet so its sorta foolish to be like mob heads yeah!! Maybe he is planning to add skeleton droppings for all of the mobs or maybe those skulls are only obtainable from digging/mining rather than killing a skeleton or who knows maybe its something craftable even.
How about enough Deco blocks and give us some Chairs and Tables? Or even an Anvil to repair our equipment realistically.
I really like the anvil idea. Maybe instead of combining two used tools to get one new one, we should use pieces of the tool's material to fix it. It should also not take away the enchantments. So if you have a really great diamond blade that taken a while to enchant, you can just take a diamond, and an anvil, and restore it back to new!
Maybe a fireplace block with animated flames that can be made larger or smaller. Solving the problems for wooden houses forever!!!
Also carpets/rugs could be fun, you could use grass or something in the crafting table to weave them together or possibly get fur from some kind of mob and then dye it to different colours. It would make floors a bit more interesting.
Window frames?
A ton of people have said tables and chairs which would be nice but probably wouldn't have any use.
I like the table idea more than the chair one though. the classic "stair-and-signs" approach makes people think more creatively but there is no way of actually making a realistic looking table. fences and pressure plates just don't look good
you could add a chandelier block and making string able to stand vertically as a rope or something to make nice lighting (no more glowstone monsters hanging from fences)
pebbles: 1 cobblestone or gravel makes 4 of them. could be placed around for extra texturing, running beside paths to make them look nicer and possibly thrown (half heart of dmg?)
I would also like to see some more redstone stuff please!!!
Eh, I'm not too excited about this, unless they have some functionality to them. They aren't focusing as much on the survival aspect any more, what with armor dye, flower pots, skeleton heads, and arguably, item frames.

Either way, this update seems like it's focused on aesthetics. Lots and lots of aesthetics.
