Perhaps the trophy heads (as everyone's calling them) aren't just boring old rare drops by their respective mobs. Perhaps something special needs to happen in order to get a mob to drop its head. Something like... OVERKILL!!!
It'd certainly be a great way to prove you're the boss, by having a pile of heads that resulted from inflicting massive damage. You literally knocked their blocks off.
Great idea, killing it with one hit (Which results in the OVERKILL achievement) should have a skull knocking-off animation.
I think they should create little single block chairs (Similar to how you can take wooden stairs and place two blank signs on either side to create a small chair) and when you put two or more together it takes away the arm on one side and becomes a small couch (Also called a "Love Seat" due to the fact that two people can sit on it such as a couple) and make it so you can place 3 together to create an actual couch. Also a table. either a dinning room table (Crafted by putting three wood or smooth stone blocks into a crafting table on the top row and then on the left and right side put 4 fence posts (two for each side of the crafting box)) or a coffee table (Made exactly the same as a dinning room table except with only 2 fence posts (one on each side of the crafting box).
You know what we need?We need barbecues...Or ovens.And I mean OVENS!NOT FURNACES!!!We also need...Along with chairs and tables,we need stuff like shakes!A tropical biome or something(Hell yes tropicraft is one of my favorite mods ever)!Or even igloos in snow biomes!Or something like that..
Please don't add chairs and tables I'm really against the idea, it ruins all the creativity. I really like the idea of hay bales though. I also don't like the idea of mirrors, because probably people will make there homes out of mirrors.

creativity is rather worthless if you cant use what you create. sure, you can fashion a chair like object, but you can't sit in it! as regards thatching? that's what shears and leaves are for.

well whats the point of sitting in a chair when u could lye in a bed. What will be the point of sitting there and do nothing. For example your minecraft character is sitting in a chair and you are just sitting in reality and watching him sit, I mean how lame is that. why not just stand and do nothing, isn't that the same thing as sitting in a chair. In a bed you could at least sleep; and did u see my pictures of the thatch block. Its not the same as sheers and leaves.

you can argue all you want, there are a lot more people out there who would like to see this implemented then those who think it would be pointless. just as you find sitting pointless, so i find the effort of coding thatch pointless when we already have a perfectly good method of organic roofing. that is all i will say to you about this.

Well if they're going to make it where mob heads can be used as decoration blocks, I wonder if we can wear them as helmets, like pumkins.....*flips out about the idea I just thought of*. I like the idea of placing mob heads as deco, and maybe zombies will become builders, if you can make them turn nice.Also I hope that new Wither boss will be placed inside one of the dimensions, since the Nether has no boss and the Overworld has no boss, maybe he will appear as a boss you can repeateadly fight or possible Nether boss? I need to stop talking..
the weird thing is, skeletons have always looked like they are smiling or something. So having them on a wall like that isn't so much intimidating or scary as much as it is surreal and creepy.
Kind of expect them to start singing a song or something as you walk by.
