I'm not sure why everyone else is complaining, it's a great game. All the bugs people have mentioned haven't happened to me, and although I understand that people are complaining about only splitscreen with HDMI, I mean I'm young and even I can afford an HDMI cable. I played for hours yesterday with my friends, the only bug I got was a few lighting glitches, which even happen on the PC version. All in all, it's a fun game, and was definitely worth the money I spent on it.

380,000 of these people probably have no idea how many game breaking bugs there are before they bought this. I mean saving and quitting and your inventory is completely lost upon loading the game up again. I know a lot of people are enjoying it as well, but from what I've been reading, the bug I mentioned above, no splitscreen unless you have HDMI/component and an HDTV, and water dissappearing as soon as you drop it out of a bucket make this a very bad decision to purchase. This is definently not the way to play minecraft, I mean how could you enjoy it if you started mining and found out after quitting and getting back on that your 16 diamonds are gone? Now if ALL of these things get fixed in a future update, I may purchase the game, but not until then (it's just not worth the $20 for a broken game).
like in the PC version there will be always bugs but it will be updated so don't worry i purchased it and i was very happy about the game it self but the only thing i want them to do is to upgrade the world its to small for 8 players but as i said there will be bug fixes and it will be up to date with the PC version.
Got the on release and instantly made a world which consists of 4 friends me and my sister and are loving it done. But I hate how far back it is.
Bad points: no xp, pistons, mods, texture packs, can't choose skins, food not stackable and animals don't like wheat
Good points: MORE DIAMONDS (in older versions there are more diamonds, so far found 25 between 4 of us)
Personally I love it but can't wait for updates

Component cables cost $40... more than the game lol. And if you add all that up, you are basically paying for a $60 xbox game on the arcade... double lol. I just don't see how minecraft graphics need hd to go splitscreen while the halo series experiences no problems going 4 player sc.

Its a great game, for futer updates i would like to see more gear ive read online the map will never be endless on xbox so if they could give us anywhere from doubel to 4x what it is now it would be enough and the only last thing this game needs in my opinion besides what they will update < enimies gear blocks etc, is if they cant make the map any bigger from what it is now, or even if they can since we cant be Endless PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE and its up to all of us gamers to work towards this the resources found in this game MUST regen. if we can get this one feature even if they cant make the game world any bigger then what we now have the game will be endless fun so gamers please ask for this futer update as much as you can and everywhere because im sure you will all agree with me that gives unlimited replayability even with are 1000x1000 grid. The reason it isn't bigger because it would take up to much space on your hardrive.
Maybe an option while creating a new world, like and option "Big world size; Warning, will take up more memory"

i can agree with this if they disclosed that before you choose to make your world or you could scale your world by how much memorey you have that would be a good option i just got a 250 gig xbox ive had a 20 gig for 3 years so since i have soooo much space now i wouldnt care if it was 50 gigs just to have the full potintel of this game. Check thought out for the article i read on the size of the game. you might have to copy and paste it into your browser. Would any one agree if they didnt change the current map size but allowed resourses , gold, dimonds etc to respawn it would still feel bigger? I bought the game today expecting to play with my bro and cousin.
We were so happy to have minecraft and then it happened.
I found out that you need a HD tv to play causing me to nearly smash my controller. I so pissed because you need hd tv!!!
F microsoft and their exlusivity. Hate how they bought MC, after being the best indie game. We should be able to play this game in EVERY console out there, not being forced on microsofts x360. It would be epic on psvita.

Been playing the Xbox version for a few days and have not noticed any bugs. Kinda fun going back to earlier version, but looking forward to updates. Love the lack of lag, especially when playing with my 2 sons and daughter-in-law. Really like not lagging when the rain hits. One of the main reasons I got it was for the multiplayer and that has not been a disappointment. Worth the 20 for me.

I actually haven't experienced any of the bugs you said... except I think I lost my iron armor, but that's not that bad.

This game was NOT ready for the console, and definitely isn't worth 20 bucks in it's current bug-ridden condition.
