Can't wait or the update tomorrow hopefully they still have some planned features, also the person that post these snapshot features really needs to take the time to post what is a feature/change and what is a bug-fix I've seen them list on several occasions bug-fixes as features when they clearly weren't (they usually fix the list a while after posting but just looking at the official source it is obvious what change are which so there is really no excuse).
It makes sense that they would spend more time ironing out the bugs from this particular update - it is the Redstone update after all. When dealing with complicated circuitry mechanics, things need to operate as smoothly as possible. Not that I care at all about redstone; I'm literally only looking forward to the modding API.
Yeah, they'd obviously not work to add bugs to the game just before an update. (Or would they? Perhaps this is all a part of Jeb's master plan for conquering the world )
Only Microsoft add bugs and problems before releasing a new Windows, I hope Mojang isn't going to copy their style of work.
Woooooooooowwwww so many snapshots!!!! Still glad to see as many bugs being squashed as possible--I'm not arguing! Look forward to seeing 1.5 released.
Define Cute (choose 1): A) Creepers Aerbunnies C) Herobrine. If you chose A): You appeal to destruction and to stereotypes. If you chose B): You are a perfectly normal person, and enjoy the Aether Mod. If you chose C): Please leave the planet now before you set off a nuclear warhead--no one enjoys mass murders, however nice they might seem to you.
Yeah i know that this is a potential bashing-to-recieved for posting this question but..
I'm a little confused here - Minecraft is currently running a 1.4.7 version, why is the update that is to be released named 1.5 pre-release then?
I'm not sure what you're not understanding, so I'll break it down.
1.4.7 is the current version. It's the 7th revision of version 1.4.
1.5 is coming out soon, it's the next version. If needed, it'll have revisions and be 1.5.1, 1.5.2, etc.
Before any versions (major versions or revisions) is released, they do a pre-release about a week early.
Ideally that prerelease is bug-free. If it's not, they fix those bugs and do another pre-release but that's pretty rare. If that prerelease is bug-free, then it just becomes the release version. If it has a bug, they make a new prerelease that is again ideally bug-free.
As a bonus to all this mod makers, texture pack artists, and map makers get to test their stuff for a week before the game is officially released, with a version of the game that is pretty much guaranteed to be exactly what the general public gets.

Curse PremiumAt first I was like "a couple weird changes", but then I was like "da fuq". Then I wised up.

Oh well, glitches are glitches. Other than that, I can't complain with more bug fixes.
