What the heck are you doing taking off my comments on here???? My first one was completely on topic!
That exact comment is entirely off topic and does it even matter? Why the hell should you care if a comment is removed or not, it's not even a big deal -.-

OMG! I know the block(It is a block btw), I saw it as of the 1.2.3 Terrain.png, it looks like sandstone a little, but with like runes on it. It is at the bottom lower middle-left. Hope it helps! I'm gonna find the recipe bye using a systematic order. TMI and Creative guide me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On a thread started about this secret, this server was volunteered for testing purposes. (deuce.minexen.com) Soon after, someone placed a sign and we captured this footage. This can be verified by several others, any of whom were on that server last night.
Nice Troll. *Thumbs up* You can CLEARLY see your poor attempt to troll by cutting when you typed the sign. I only needed to watch like a MINUTE to know that was a bad troll.
Maybe that "secret" is only the recipe... Perhaps we've already had the item, but no one knows how to craft it? (I'm talking about how mods like TMI give you all the times).
For example for those who don't understand.... Chainmail. People can get the item through multiplayer, SMP, etc by putting in the simple Item ID. Legitimately you can't craft it (it's made with the "Fire" block, which is unobtainable). Maybe... there is a way to make "Fire"?
I have been playing mincraft since beta 1.2 and have never known that

If you want to get my attention in a topic, please quote me!
I quote the wiki. "This texture was added in Beta 1.3 but was never used in the game. It closely resembles obsidian, and also appears to maybe be a bedrocktexture modified to look like Obsidian. It is also known as Bleeding Obsidian among many members for its appearance. "In Beta 1.5, the texture slot for Crying Obsidian was replaced by a grayscale replacement of the side of grassy dirt blocks, which is used for biome-compliant grassy dirt block sides. Its original purpose was to set a new respawn point, but was abandoned after the introduction of beds.[4] It would have been crafted with an obsidianblock and Lapis Lazuli.[5] On Feburary 9th, 2012, Jeb was tweeted with a request for the return of Crying Obsidian (or more colored blocks). He responded "As soon as I've made preparations for more texture space," suggesting the return of Crying Obsidian might be possible.[6]"
You are quoting a typo, dumbass. The proper statement in the highlights from GDC were as follows:
While all the recipes have been discovered, Notch says there is still something secret in the game nobody has discovered yet
Unfortunately, I have a feeling that HIM and other rumors must be considered plausible until proven otherwise... I will still stand my ground and say that it can't be a block or recipe as I searched the code for them and got nothing new, and I refuse to belive that HIM is in the game. Perhaps the farlands have returned, or maybe the skylands are accessible without mods...
Recipe is in brackets. Maybe the brackets are a hint to something? Something in the code, or something very very obvious in brackets that we have just not thought of?
- Something to do with wells
- Something to do with the new aesthetic blocks (sandstone, etc)
- Something to do with the enderegg
- A recipe that isn't crafted (like nether portals and golems) involving one or more of the above
Has anybody checked the code for an un-crafted recipe yet?-Nicolas Negroponte
Oh I see now. I can't recognize my posts because both my avatar and signature are gone. I can't even edit my post above.
Apparently if you double post, it merges into the first one.

someone find a well and have a look with mcedit

That was the default arrow for skeletons.
