You guys are so concrete... A "recipe" doesn't nescessarily have to be a real crafting recipe in minecraft to create an item, it is a hypothetical recipe.
When you place the blocks for snow golems, iron golems, etc, there is obviously code there somewhere but where are these listed as recipes in the code and how?
I think it has something to do with the part of code that turns blocks placed in a certain pattern into a snow or iron golem, could be a specific pattern of blocks we haven't discovered yet.
...I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but, maybe it's not a CRAFTING recipe.
Maybe it's an easier way to farm wheat or something? Like, an auto-harvest/planting thing.
I don't know... Or, just putting the ideas in one place (I've seen them posted) The dragon egg, the hieroglyphs, maybe something with the new stone bricks? Or chainmail? (Or as I've seen, somehow smelting diamond?) Then again... This secret might be one thing that's been speculated since before time began. Herobrine.

Of course, we'll need the help of coders, modders, etc. I mean, heck, maybe the secret is a secret plan by Notch to keep people interested and buying the game!... ...But then again, I noticed this: It was NOTCH being interviewed... ...And didn't Notch hand the wheel to Jeb a while back? Maybe that's a tiny hint that it's something done while Notch was captain of the Minecraft crew? Or maybe I'm just crazy. I dunno. XD
I'm honestly here just to spark ideas and get people trying things, give them somewhere to start. Anybody has anything, I can ponder on it!

no this has been known a long time. but does this code say you can smelt coal, redstone and lapis too? or am i reading it wrong, as i dont code myself?
its because you can give yourself the actual coal and lapis blocks that you would find in caves and such. it just means if you did that you can smelt it to get coal or lapis lol
