"Added warning message for players using soon unsupported systems (PowerPC's and Java 5)"

(new to the game 2 weeks in.....ignore my noobie-ness to the works -___-) but anybody else having trouble playing this with the mo creatures mod? or do i gotta wait lol....i hate being the newbie :/
As far as i can see, Firework Rockets does not work when put in a dispencer and fired with redstone.
I've not yet tested this statement in singleplayer, but i suppose it only is like this on a multiplayer server.
I really like the fireworks and it's cool addition to have just before New Year's Eve. It actually would've ben cool to get some sort of major Christmas update, but since the Pretty Scary Update recently came out that probably wasn't gonna happen.
I also like the new mob spawner options; very useful.
Wow...Nice! Anyone else think the Thorns enchantment is a bit useless?
Not really. It's nice for dealing extra damage when hordes of zombies are after you. It's more of a luxury than anything else, but I wouldn't call it useless.
There are many glitches with this update that I found in around a minute
There are no fireworks in the creative inventory
Fireworks get launched and fly up but then disappear and there is no sound or explosion
You can't add those special things to fireworks, or at least I can't figure out how to
None of thos things are glitches. Mojang removed the fireworks from the creative inventory because, as lots of other people said, they don't do anything. You need to craft them with items, and they won't be added to the inv because there are hundreds (Don't quote that) of combinations for them. And you add the special things to the firework star, then craft that with the gunpowder, and paper, (star top middle, gunpowder bottom, paper middle.)
It's not obvious to a common pleb, if you will. It's not unreasonable to demand a warning either when a mere update can break compatibility.
I think it should be as obvious as saying, "why does my car key not work when the lock is changed," or, "why can't I figure out how to put my N64 cartridge into my CD drive."

Is anyone figuring out the ideal levels to get certain enchants?
Or should every attempt be made at level 30, and hope for the best?

Heheh

That ruins my new years surprise

It's probably best to do everything at level 30.
Well, my chests still with the same texture...

Curse PremiumA warning would be nice. If it's there, I obviously missed it.
