Tekkit got a server type. Will FTB when it's released (which should be as soon as mods update for 1.4)? How about other mod servers? They don't all run Tekkit, and searching for specific mods doesn't seem to work properly.
Also, would like to be able to search based on whether a given server has a whitelist, blacklist, or lack thereof, and whether joining the server requires joining another forum.

1. The search options are too limited.
2. The IP shown in the server is not what i typed (DNS), but the real IP. What if my IP is dynamic?
3. The ping shown in the server is from where? US west? Not fair at all for a lot of the servers.
4. You can add more details for the server, like uptime, whitelist, pvp...
This stuff is REALLY important!!
The server I run uses a dynamic address so giving out the actual IP would not help people at all because it may change every few weeks.
The ping should be from your own system, but it is quite possible that it is the ping from the MC forums servers.
I would suspect that whitelisted servers wouldn't show up, but if they do, a filter would be nice.
I've looked through this thread and I too am having issues with claiming my sever. I tried several times over the past two days and still the claim isn;t working. There is nothing other than the token in my MoTD. Could I please have my server assigned manually to me.

We claimed our server yesterday then found out our ip was changing. Now we are listed twice and I can't seem to get the second listing claimed. BTW, our server is promoted and listed by name, not by IP. Our Server is Kismet- Find a happy place...
Also, in the search, so many are pvp servers listed in the survival. Will there be any moderation/clarification of where your server should be listed?
Every 10 minutes we ping your server, are you seeing the message more frequently than that?
I mentioned this a few days ago. It's coming every minute and frequently a lot more often than that (up to 3), filling up the console window. It stopped for a little while earlier but has started again with the same frequency. This began when I listed my server.

It checks every 30 seconds if you initiate the claim process until it finds the token. Did you trigger the claim process?
If you search the servers using the filter name: Kismet
Two servers come up, my old ip which I claimed successfully.
Another listing that has my name, my users, my plugins, but someone elses address. server.mcshadowblade.com
I can not accurately claim it even though I have the code in MY motd because it is looking at someone elses server.
Please note: server.mcshadowblade.com resolves to: 74.220.199.9
Our server is play.kismetserver.com resolves to: 69.175.24.53
I have changed our old ip listing to resolve to beast.kismetserver.com hoping it might stop or help in some way.

Hilariously, I edited my server and changed the IP address, but the ping keeps coming strong. Then I tried to change it back to the correct IP and now I just get an error when trying to submit.
I think I'd just like to be removed from the list for now. I don't see a remove button in the editor. Uhhh... I guess I'll PM you again :/
