I think the gravel stuff in the second picture might be the new pavement for villages. New ore in first picture? Or just redstone with different texture?
I think the trading system will be great the ore is ruby ore which u can get rubies from and use as money to pay the villgers,the strange block is retextured gravel, and that there will be a new type of villager that isa miner that will mine rubies for the village.
At the moment, this is what I'm most scared of. People fantasizing about nonexistent ruby ore. It is obviously redstone based, if you would just take a closer look at the first picture. I'm also disappointed that Jeb choose to use this red gem for currency. Why not just use gold nugget? It's actual currency and isn't so expensive that trading it would be a chore.
i think currency should not be made from redstone, that wouldn't feel right, it should be made of gold because thats totally classic...
and i don't know about this whole testificate "trading" thing... seems pretty weird.
and DLC for skins is okay as long as there free, if they price them i will rage, and i would really prefer if they worked on updating the food (to allow it to stack) and mob drops such as beef and chicken, rather then skins. i hope they don't follow the updates from the PC that would suck
Uhhh... You know they are following the updates for pc? Also, it would make sense if the skin costed money, which it probably will.
For the first picture, what's that ore thing in the top right hand corner? It could just be a stone block with activated redstone dust on it but I don't think so. Could there be a new ore?! Hhmmmm...

i think i see 2 new blocks 1 meant to be the roads for villages or a retexture of garvel and on the first picture if you raise the brightness you can see the corner of a block that looks like redstone
I JUST REALIZE THE CRYSTAL IS A NEW ORE AND HES SHOWING THE ORE BLOCK IN THE FIRST PICTURE RUBIES IN MINECRAFT?
I think Jeb should also add different village and villager styles based on what biome they are in.
+Tree houses in jungles. +Pyramids etc. in deserts. +Tree stump houses in swamps. +Regular villages in grasslands. <-- Change the look of villagers though.. +Igloos in snow biomes.
^ This would be a GREAT addition with the new Large Biomes mode.
