YY is the two-digit year, WW is the two-digit week number within the year, and x is a unique identifier, starting with "a", in case there is more than one release per week, and "w" simply stands for "week"."
Translation if you cant understand that:
12 is the two-digit year, 21 is the two-digit week number within the year, and a is a unique identifier, starting with a,in case there is more than one release per week, and w simply stands for "week number of the year, or week"
Also the last snapshot in 1.2 was 12w08a, so if youre statement was true, the next snapshot (1.3) would be12w9a, but it was not the case, it was 12w15a, as in the 15th week.
Uh Oh, I hope the coins are made from redstone, that ore seems a little different. I wouldn't want to have to traverse across the world and generate new chunks to mine some coins!! D:
Oh course, then again, we might be able to sell things for coins.
Have you seen what an emereald looks like? They are mostly green not red like in the picture. You need to use Wikipedia more oftenly or go outside or something.
Where can you go outside and see emeralds? Because that would be pretty freaking awesome.
From what I have gathered is that there is a new ore and currency of ruby's or something like it. There is a new block in the bottom left hand corner of the second picture. Lastly there is a new gravel texture.
What you see at the bottom left could be a dispenser...
It seems to be made of Redstone, seeing as how it is (of course) red and there is plenty of Redstone within their inventory
There are also a lot of swords in his inventory, that doesnt mean its made out of swords.
And there is also a new ore in the picture, which is probably the new gem
JEB!! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PLEASE ALLOW US TO CHANGE THE VILLAGERS SKINS! GWAD THEY LOOK LIKE CAVEMAN SQUIDWARDS!
Um you can change the villagers skins.
Start>%appdata%>.minecraft>bin>(extract to minecraft\)minecraft>mobs>villagers>open with paint>[edit as you wish]>save>highlight everything in minecraft.jar>add to archive>click on .zip, not .rar>drag to texturepack folder>launch minecraft>click on Texture packs>click on the one you made>play minecraft and see villagers in a whole new way.
Okay, so am I the only one to think about the fact that the input is raw chicken and the output is the gem things? These gems seem quite easy to get, whatever they are. Curious as to why there is a waiting arrow, but I guess we'll find out.
Also, I think they just need to update already. I'm itching for adventure
As quoted from the wiki:
"The format for the snapshots is YYwWWx.[1]

Here's the link, although it's not confirmed just speculation as with all the rest of these useless posts. Just wait until tomorrow to find out.

12w21a
12: Year
w: Week
21: Week of the year
a: Explained in another post....
The 'a' is in case they need to do multiple in a week. So the second would be 'b', then 'c' etc.
