Nope, my proxy firewall still blocks it too. I think it blocks all of tumblr.

What difference does it make if it's today or tomorrow? The only thing that's gonna change between pre and full is bug fixes. My friend and I are already using 1.4 on our server since optifine is good to go. We've had no serious issues using it and are loving the new content.

Edit -> Oh forgot about one little problem. Any discontinued texture pack will not show mobs properly anymore. The new mob changes make them display all kinds of messed up.
