In my thoughts it wasn't really a great update. Im still awaiting the chairs, crying obsidian and rubies but no doubt they will come in the next update. Does anyone know when the next update will be out because I'm quite sure notch is working on their new game 0x10c which looks really pathetic.
Why do the new items (flower pots, item frames) Not show up when I craft them but I can see the name. And when I place it, it is pink.
Its because you are using a texture pack which did not update to minecraft 1.4.2 and it did not have the picture of the item frame and the pot so its pink.

-Switched Pork to Bacon
-Added Capture The Flag mode
-Added More Friendly Mobs (Bear, Lion, Tiger, etc.)
-Deleted Obsidian Tools Mods (Obsidian is unbreakable plus its cheating)
-Added Tv
-Added Furniture
-Removed Herobrine LOLOLOLOL

So basically when villagers are hit by zombies they become infected but Steve isn't infected?
Basically. Though the villagers have to be killed by the zombies, and they become infected a percentage of the time (or else they just die like normal)
For Some odd reason, I get random fps drops once in a while. I go from 60 FPS, to 18 for like 2-3 seconds? not sure if this is where you post bugs, but this one has indeed corrupted my gameplay a bit. Although it happens once in like ever 30 minutes or so. So if you are reading this dev's try and fix please!
