I've been keeping $7AUD available expecting the android price, and I don't have enough

:/ its got a hole lot of potential I've looked in the app folder on the iPod and it has all the block texture's along with all the items but they are just not being used ..... yet hopefully

on further look in to it the textures and items are all from beta 1.6 for some odd reason

its all ready got them in there as servers on your local area network

The game is the same in www.minecraft.net in the free mode, has the same blocks, the seed is 220 x 220 (aproximately) and no mobs, multiplayer if another iphone/ipod/ipad are in the same wifi port.

I was shaken with excitement when I saw this post on the main page here. I don't care what price it's going for, I'm just glad to have it on my iPod!

I just bought Eden instead as I'm not paying £4.99 for a half arsed creative mode, the Xbox version better not be this.

Same. I'm assuming you itouch is either 8 or 16 gb. The 3g model for those sizes are really only 2g running 3g software. That is the thing that annoys me. 3 gen works, but 2 gen doesn't. >.<

I bought it. In the US it is $6.99. It's pretty good. The controls are annoying at times but all you have to know is: arrow pads are forward, left, right, backwards, and the middle one is jump. They also have auto-jump so usually you don't have to push the jump button. Slide your finger on the right side to look around, tap to build, and hold to break. And at the bottom, push the ... to select your blocks. I say it's great. Better controls and more blocks word be nice though. And survival mode. And bluetooth and internet games. I recommend getting it. :smile.gif:

Is it worth the higher price over World of Whatever or Eden?

Just got the iOS Minecraft on my 3GS running 4.3...runs pretty smooth for me! Way better than Eden, if only the fact that it's "official" Minecraft.
I have a feeling we'll be seeing a whoooooole lot more content in the future. With that in mind, it was worth the money. I'd never pay that for a knockoff version of MC.
