T_T is that new to this update? I'm glad that you answered though. I've been flipping out trying to get a pig up into my base and now.. once I get a carrot... I can!
So do you breed chickens with seeds now? cus that would be awesome.
I love the update , but wish 2 minor changes would have been implemented in this Halloween update...
Pumpkins without a face until you actually turned it into a jack o'lantern...or the carving thing they had mentioned about adding would have been nice...
Also , from someone who has made numerous haunted houses and Disneylands Haunted Mansion in my survival games...I really wish you could use shears to collect cobwebs...
I have a Mac and How do you exactly open/use this cause everytime i click on it, it says The Java JAR file "minecraft.Jar" Could not be launched check the console for possible error messages. Please help Thanks!
1. Press Windows start button
2. Click on search bar and type in %appdata%
3. Click the .minecraft file
4. Click the bin file
5. Replace the old minecraft.jar with new minecraft.jar
6. Exit Everything
7. Start game and enjoy.
Why is it that you have to make changes, and completely ignore their impact on your players and then move along without
ever changing them back...
You moved the action to play sounds to the server.....why? There's absolutely nothing wrong with sounds playing from the client,
but you had to move those actions to the already slow, laggy and still very buggy server.
I hoped that after you broke that you might have taken notice and planned to have it fixed for 1.4, but after trying the pre-release,
it's obvious that once again you don't care, and you aren't listening.
Am I meant to hope you'll hear and fix it in another year when 1.5 comes out, or 1.6, or am I never going to be able to play minecraft
again, let alone record gameplay of minecraft ever again because of this unnecessary change you made which you didn't seem
to even consider how any lag at all would effect it.
Trying to play when your footsteps are 3 seconds behind you and you can place 3 blocks before the first 'place block' sound even
occurs, is unbearable.
Please recognize this issue and fix it when possible. All you need to do is revert the playing of sounds to how it was previously, surely
you have backups of your code somewhere and are able to fix this soon?
One major thing they should add is the ability to make large circuits in a small place. Not sure how they would do that though.
I was kinda hoping they would use that little blocks mod as a guide on that one. Since redstone items are effectively blocks and items, they really don't have to follow the usual Minecraft size/shape theme, and the introduction of similar blocks/items like heads and flowerpots made me somewhat hopeful here.........
The mod allows for quite a smaller space, you should check out the mod, the last I used it Redstone functioned perfectly. (Though it was just a simple timer clock, I didn't test it on anything truly complex.)

Is it just me, or are tamed wolves acting strange? Mine kept teleporting while sitting, and now it teleported back into my house and is now suffocating for no reason...
Looks good but I won't be downloading it. I can wait 3 days for the official release. I think this is a big step for minecraft but I hope they fix the levelling up sound, that would get really annoying. But all the other new sounds are AWESOME!

After losing several more hours to this update, I've noticed something annoying: Occasionally, my maps will blank. In this new version, the map is drawn out for the whole area it encompasses, which is nice, but maps #0 and #1 suddenly went blank and I can't get them to re-draw.
Yeah you breed chickens with seed now, although I have the hardest time getting carrots for pigs ~_~.
Find a new village and check the fields after they've grown a bit. If you are playing with no structures then start a zombie farm somewhere. Carrots drop off zombies once in a blue moon. Also in NS worlds you can cure villager zombies and start a village of your own

The only fix available is a mod, however that mod is only built for normal minecraft servers, their is no fix for bukkit users.
