I really like the direction that minecraft is going in. One thing i hope to see in future updates (besides the mod API) is different types of villager races, like farlanders, pigmen, and stuff like that.
I just remembered. How about command /time stay [whatevertimeyouwantit]? For adventure maps, so if you go into a village, it stays as day, or whatever time. Maybe an alternative... /time stop? So the time stays as the current time. /time start to start it up again. Only ops can use it (duh) and you can use it from command blocks. Please don't say it's a bad idea...
i'm not sure about this new repair method, i was really excited when i first saw it, it sounded a lot like the repair feature in McMMO plugin. But no, its not, its nothing like it. I tried it out to repair my iron sword and not only did i need MORE THAN two bars of iron to repair a sword i also had to pay with some of my XP levels. WTF. it only takes TWO iron bars and ZERO levels to make a brand new one, myabe if we got repairing skill etc so that eventually it might cost less, then i could live with it. As it sits not why would anyone use it??? Am i missing something??
My thoughts on 1.4. Although there are a load of new things, it seems... empty. Know what I mean? The updates just seem... hollow. I don't know, maybe it's just me. It is? Dang. But really!
i just hope they fixed sheep randomly getting out of there fenced pens i have a large sheep farm with 16 pens 1 per sheep color and they keep going torugh the fence i dno how but they keep getting out
since theres no openings for them to go out
sort of need to double-up the fences. if they interpenetrate a single fence block, they seem to become noclip for that block, but if another fence block is behind it, they can't walk through, and if they walk back then the first block will become solid to them again.
AFAICT, this mostly seems to happen as a result of one mob pushing another mob into a transparent block.
this seems related to an issue where chickens keep escaping my chicken-tube (since about 1.3 or so).
I am not sure if it is related to the "player seems to occasionally sticks in walls" issue, where sliding into a wall, a player may eventually "collide" with the wall they are sliding against (the block ahead of them), and seem like they are partly merged into the wall. this is slightly annoying, but no serious harm has resulted thus far (as long as I don't fall through the floor or something I am probably happy enough here...).
meh, no mod-api again. Putting ALL modders into the pain of reverse engineering your code again and again and again and again
Could you not PLEASE make a mod-api version 1.0 so at least the basics are covered?
How hard can it be when there are already modders doing it like modloader/forge/etc There is no shame to ask for their help if you cannot figure it out yourself...
They said they were gonna releace the mod api in january this year, then 1.1.0 then, 1.2.0 then, 1.3.2 then 1.5, and now 1.6......!!
I know. If only coding a complex system that needs to take into account a near-endless set of variables that interact in unpredictable ways was as easy as complainĀing about it not getting done on a forum was!
and that's where the combustible lemons come in...
What do you mean by that?
Yes please.
Minecraft skins is down. This link is helpful! http://help.mojang.com/

That's original, that totally hasn't been pointed out 10 times in this thread already.
It's just so damn easy to complain isn't it? Fk people, just shut up about it.
I mean seriously, complaining in a feedback thread... WHAT R U THINKING?

Post it on reddit he said. Get a lot of upvotes he said. I guess I'll wait and see...
