Removed Herobrine? Wow, I never thought I'd see that update tag again.
Wow, when I posted this, I thought it would be the first on the second page. When I got the the 2nd page, there were 2 or 3 posts ahead of me.
or you can just say ''added minecraft 1.8 to xbox''
Except they pulled features that were not added till later on in PC version and added them to this version so it is not the same as pc version of 1.8
Funny how alot of you are saying you're switching back to xbox now. 1.4 is going to come out and you'll switch back to pc
Don't worry, Im switching back & forth between all 3 minecrafts
I have one question to mojang about the last snapshot for pc (12w39a/12w39b): why when i enter on nether, one giant wave of lag attack my minecraft? If someome know the awnser, please, tell me, i want to get to the nether for get glowstone!! :/

Not that this has anything to do about Minecraft on the 360, but the Nether is extremely laggy in the snapshot versions. I don't know why but Mojang said somewhere that they are aware of this and working on it.

There are actually a decent number of features from later versions that are moved to the 360 version that weren't originally in 1.8. For example, apples dropping from leaves wasn't originally implemented until 1.1.
10 new discs in 1.8? I thought that 9 discs were added in 1.9.
This is partially true. There was a 10th music disk in 1.9 but due to coding issues with the music disk's name, there was no way to obtain this 10th new disc, even through creative/spawning. This disc's name was "where we are now" and you can actually find the song file in the Minecraft.jar. If you want to be technical, MInecraft on the Xbox 360 is getting its first exclusive content.
The tursted player feature is what i'm really loooking forward to Wish i could be able to define a safe zone ingame and they do whatever beyond that point, Tho this list is a nice start to somethin like that.
It is in Microsoft cert testing and nobody knows exactly how long it will take. My guess (only a guess) is sometime next week, or monday/tuesday of the week after.

Hmm, is it just for that snapshot, or all versions?

This was a pleasant and frankly unexpected surprise. This will be great as I don't have to restrict people I trust as compared to people I'm a bit on the bench about.

What version do you have? The pocket edition? Cause PC version is far ahead of the Xbox....just sayin.

I knew they would say that again
Nvm. I assume there is no ender dragon yet since it wasn't in 1.8 at least I don't think it was. Please just disregard my last post.

What I'm looking forward to most: being able to switch a map between creative and survival!
Ho-Rah!
No one has said it's being released on friday.
