This snapshot is great, as usually but's there is one thing that don't like me.

The new texture of beacon block, without the polygonal core isn't good. I think and I believe that the other model of the beacon was greater. I think too that the old rays os beacon block was more spectacular and more appropiate.

If the bats are passive and can be in caves then if you could get some sort of food from them that would be really awesome!

I hope witches will only be spawnable in spawn eggs, or in some dungeons.

ok, I tested the AI of bats with dispensers with bat eggs and redstone clocks and a wall of lava and they FLEW RIGHT THREW IT.They all died. there was a second exit btw. they seem to pass through liquids like air... the second exit had instant damage II potions in it lol

Can anyone tell me how to update a server with the provided "Server" file? My server is a .exe and the file I download is a .jar.
And I don't even know how to update, I'm just guessing you add the latest Minecraft_server file.

We need vampires from bats, mummy spawners in desert temples, and werewolves from wolves. That would be awesome.

No. Just no. We don't need more fantasy. Witches are enough. Vampires are a stupid idea, too fantasy, would be weird to be around if they were in humanoid form, and wouldn't make sense if they were villagers. Werewolves wouldn't work in any way, and wolves don't turn into Werewolves. Mummies would just be weird unless they were a new Zombie type.

Let me explain the consept of PROGRESS. New things are added to the game. All because it isn't beta1.3 doesn't mean that the game isn't still minecraft. If you think progress is bad and you hate the awesome work that dinner bone and jeb are doing to make minecraft even better, which is something that I can't believe is possible but am stood corrected every time they do it, then simply do not update your game! And for the record, who on earth do you think would play the game if it never updated after beds....

My game is acting like the witch file in the mob folder doesn't exist so its just showing it as all white! Does anyone know why this is happening??

So let me get this straight. You're cool with:

• Zombies
• Skeletons
• 1-meter wide spiders
• 2-meter wide spiders
• Flying mountains
• Creepers
• Enchantments on weapons.
• Potions that allow you to survive in lava (among other things)

just to name a few, but you don't want this to become a fantasy game?

I'm a little skeptical about new sounds, you know the saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it?". I AM however excited about NEW sounds. I've always thought the one thing Minecraft was missing was ambient sounds for each biome. A jungle should sound like a jungle, when you step underneath that canopy you should immediately feel as though you are surrounded with the sounds of birds, bugs, frogs, etc. I think this allow for a deeper sense of immersion. I dont imagine it'd be hard to do either, they already have a sound emitting block in-game.

Sound bug.

Placing of Glass block / pains / lamps all sound like your breaking glass. Unless your placing them extremely hard to the point that the glass breaks then It should have a different sound.


Painting bug

Even on a huge wall "9 x 9" YOu cannot get anything larger than a 1 x 2 painting to place. And the 1 x 2 are extremely rare to get.
