Whoever has no clue how to play this, follow these directions;
1. Hit the Windows button on your keyboard + R at the same time
2. Type %appdata%
3. Locate your .minecraft folder
4. Go to your bin folder located in the .minecraft folder
5. Download the new Minecraft.jar and drag it into the bin folder
6. Remove and Replace with the old one.
Note: If your old 1.7.3 jar still has mods on it that you don't want to re-add, make a backup.
I tried that and it is "Done loading" But it won't go to the end. I HATE MY LIFE T_T

First, download the link and put it on your desktop. Then go into the .minecraft folder, and find the .bin folder. in the .bin folder, take the minecraft.jar file in a seperate, easy to find folder. Then put what u just downloaded into the .bin file. Make sure u dont change the name. now it will work fine.
if u want to change it back to 1.7.3: just retreve the older version from ur recycling bin and put it on ur desktop. then put the 1.8 version in the recycle bin. Now put the old version in the .bin file and ur good to go!
For all those people that cant get it to work, download the file and put it somewhere like your desktop so its easy to find. now (in windows) Go to start then "run" (windows key+r for vista) type %appdata% and press ok. go to your .Minecraft(might be at the bottom of the list.) make a copy of it incase something goes wrong, now delete your minecraft.jar file, and replace it with the new 1.8(just drag and drop) and try to run it. I dont know if this works for mac i dont use mac.
