For those who don't know grab the folder.
and press start.
*search run* and then type %appdata%.
look for .minecraft and click bin.
drag you minecraft .jar into a safe place and delete the one in you bin.
then drag the minecraft.jar the you DOWNLOADED and put in your .minecraft bin.
If something goes wrong do the following:
Open the minecraft launcher and click options, force update and click log in.
if that didn't work go to %appdata% and copy your .minecraft into a safe folder and then delete the one in your %appdata% and open the minecraft launcher, options force update and click log in.
why did they take the time to gut 1.8 and release it just a few days early as a pre release? they could have used that time alot more efficently
It was a release meant only for some more of the credible developers for single player mods and SMP servers, like craftbukkit, so they could have some things done before the official release. But one of the people they gave it too leaked the link, so they just released it to everyone to test for bugs, which is usually better because the community has always been better at finding bugs then the developers in games since the beginning of games. btw, you spelled efficiently wrong.
so I wonder if the real update will be tomorrow... that would be epic sauce.
Haha... and on another note, I believe i read something about what would be a good way to use the enderman pearl thingy, and someone said something about crafting it into a sword, personally the over all idea sounds cool but im thinking maybe it could be crafted into a portable lantern, like you walk with it in the dark and it lights your way :3
Found a bug, when you drop anything on a crafting table you will not can pick it up again, and if its under you, every time u use the same item to craft anything it will be infinitely replaced in your invent.
