I'm still waiting for the release. I don't know why, I just don't wanna get any virus or go to jail or anything. Plus it's extremely buggy, it just took me 15 minutes to read a page of bugs. I'm really going to wait until the actual release comes out.

GREATEST UPDATE EVAR!!, already made it throgh my second NIGHT! havnt really explored my world to much yet, LOVE THE chest ANIMTAION! And the EATING ANIMATIONS are awesome, sprinting is fun as heck, and i love how the anials when you hit them they run away!!

I wont do it... I need to have the optifine mod because I only have 1 gig of ram and it lags like a toaster.

Obviously not. That defeats the whole purpose of having those 2 types of game modes. If you could switch from survival to creative whenever you wanted on the same world, what would be the point of having those 2 different modes in the first place?

SWEET but how do you do the server one if you have a server do you have to make a new one?

Guys if you can't login it's because a lot of people are logging on, just try again or restart minecraft.

Well, I'm really excited for it, but it's not working. I replaced the new minecraft.jar with the old one and I started to play but it doesn't start. All it does is show a screen that says "Done Loading" with a bar thats almost done but won't load. I've waited for a while but nothing happens. Any help?

So far I ran into 3 bugs:

1.It doesn't show the animation when destroying a chest.

2.When cooking "raw beef" it says "saving chunks" but its not white when it says it its like a faded grey.

3.It resets your achievements when saving quitting then logging back in.

mine doesnt work it keeps saying failure to load minecraft manifest attribute from c:\Users\********\Downloads\minecraft.jar... can sum1 help??

sever crashed after someone tried to use a furnace hopes this helps. also the game just blacks sceens and crashs until i set the graphics lower. thanks for a preview of 1.8 be waiting for a more refined version.
