1.8 is great but seems to be more of a 2.0 then 1.8 . I am going to miss going around the classic world without the huge plains and to be walking inside caves without an everlasting abandonmineshaft. I think the biomes in 1.8 are really annoying and empty. But I really enjoy the new combat and cool new blocks.The new mob, endermen
are great gives minecraft that also everpresent feel of that you are never safe.

There are a lot of things in 1.8 that I are bit over the top. I love Minecraft because it keeps it simple and new with new things like beds and wolfs.

if you have a mac: go to your name, library, application support, minecraft, bin and put the .jar there.
if you have a pc: go to run, search %appdata% go to .minecraft, bin, and put the .jar there.

Click replace,
Done.

How is that true? It's the jar. A cracked player could easily replace their jar. This doesn't fix anything.

Already found a bug! Sticks are pretty glitchy.. When I threw 7 sticks on the ground then picked them up, they stayed on the ground. Then, when I tried putting two sticks in a stack, it showed as 1, but was 2..

Alright, everything has been going good. The only time its crashed is when i tried cooking raw chicken with coal, it went to a glitchy saving chunks, then blackscreened.
EDIT: I logged back on, and the furnace started to cook it, but the flame meter is infinite.

holy cow 2 minutes in i find an abandon mineshaft 9 after that i find 6 diomand

For those of you who dont know how to install it, you replace the origanal Minecraft.jar with this one.

Got a error after putting wood into a furnace it said 'Saving chunks' Then black screen.

I'll wait till it's stable.

Grrrrr, I replaced the minecraft.jar with the new one, but when I log in to minecraft the updating bar never finishes. Help?

Just found a treasure chest in a mineshaft with some lapis lazuli, coal and iron. I think you get chests with minerals in there. Also, I found a Blue Spider spawner (and mined it) and an EPIC underground canyon, with some glitchy mineshaft wossname doors randomly floating over it.

THIS UPDATE WORKS WITH PIRATE MINECRAFT TOO I USED IT NORMALY AND A LOT OF BUGGS BUT THAT CAN BE FIXED

wow, i was wondering around in an abandoned mine and i found 3 spider spawners really close with alot of cobwebs around them, lovin the update
