I have stopped making Minecraft mods...
but I am now making actual games on my official website http://www.chaomoon.com
Whoever has no clue how to play this, follow these directions;
1. Hit the Windows button on your keyboard + R at the same time
2. Type %appdata%
3. Locate your .minecraft folder
4. Go to your bin folder located in the .minecraft folder
5. Download the new Minecraft.jar and drag it into the bin folder
6. Remove and Replace with the old one.
Note: If your old 1.7.3 jar still has mods on it that you don't want to re-add, make a backup.
Help!!! I Cant Launch My Server On 1.8, Im Using Mac BTW Am I Supposed To Use Windows?
im using a mac and it works fine. are you running a vanilla server or are you running it with bukkit or another server mod. if you are then it probably wont work
I was to, then I realized I was being stupid an using the server download thing. Make sure to use the client download link. Now my problem is being stuck at a black screen

You should be able to craft an Enderman Pearl with a piece of gold and an iron sword to create an endersword that stuns enemies or does something else like that. I was gonna say something about it causing Endermen to turn completely passive while in your hand, but that would be OP.
No one seems to be helping others. A lot of people are having trouble downloading this (including me).
actually quite a few are trying to help. no one bothers to even read tho or put effort in trying to get it to work. if you cant get it to work then just wait for the official release :/

You haven't been paying attention to people's posts, the installation isn't working for them.
