PLEASE LISTEN FOR GODS SAKE! i use windows xp. browser mode. i get a 1.7.3 .minecraft and replace the old .jar with the new one. the browser version goes black.

perhaps the pre-release version is only compatible with normal playing and not browser? I have no knowledge of course but this is the best explanation I came up with
I just found a HUUUUUUUGE chasm in the swamp! It was too dark to look down and see anything. I looked straight down, apparently looking at an Enderman. He teleported behind me and knocked me off xD and I LOVE the new lighting. Can someone tell me how to fly in creative mode?

Happened to me too...do you have Winrar right? If so, just uninstall it and reinstall it and then get the .minecraftjar again and it should work.
