I can't seem to run the server jar for some reason. Every time I try nothing happens...
Has anyone else encountered this problem, and if so, how would I fix this so I can play privately with my friends?

Apparently Endermen can teleport into your house... Scared the living crap out of me.

They also have the same sounds as zombies which is kind of a let down...

um i play in browser windows XP and i got a fresh .minecraft be running my 1.7.3, and i replace that minecraft.jar with the 1.8 minecraft.jar and then the little play window goes black. help please~
