guys, it's just some type of dark creature which picks up blocks such as sand, dirt, gravel, and other stuff that a player could easily mine with their hands. The purpose is so they can uncover dirt houses and such so that other monsters can walk in. They will probably also have a simple ranging system so that if they sense a human, they try to destroy anything in the way and attack. But again, I doubt that they can move blocks such as stone and all. Again, no worries. Just build a house out of something like stone, then when the update comes out, they can't grab the blocks from your house and you are safe.

I take it that it burns at day because he would of should us the new monster at day for a better look but still cool monster in the back i can see one taking a grass block

they probably are npc village villagers because they arlready have pigman in the villages so the might have squidmen too, or they might build the villages of their own and be an enemyof the npc villagers

I think we need more info to go on before we assume to much. if I am not mistaken blocks can be easily replaced with a sword if a mob has it in its innovatory. well thats scary hope they don't have inventories :smile.gif:
