Me and my girlfriend discussed this mob, then though it'd be funny as all hell, if they formed a line, much like ants, and picked up your whole house and uppped and left.
After Notch himself sent me a message answering a question I asked him, it said this:

Just playing, if you make sure to kill it while looking at it you're safe. But there are many, and it will be hard to keep track of them. I'm still not sure what to name them or if they are originally hostile...you'll have to find out :wink.gif:"
He never replied to me after that. But there you guys go.
When did you get that? because it must have been awhile back. He's already said their name is Endermen/Enderman and they are Passive until you place your crosshairs/pixel/whatever your aiming thing is on them. and even then they only stare at you, until the second you look away, when they charge. or if you're out of range, they teleport at a rate of one second per second. That was on his blog..... although the Enderman thing was on reddit.
My guess is: they are evil builders that if you do not leave alone, will kill you and builds tnt traps. You know, to kill you and destroy.
Or they are adaptable monsters that can make weapons tools and stuff, a big threat to us all.
Oh crap... I peed my pants just at the thought.
Another thing to look out for. They should add this to adventurecraft.
Especially in caves or shadow dungeons
Those look like a pain in the butt my friend told me they are going to be a mob that takes blocks out of ANYTHING like your pixel art or your mob factory or your house even if that is what they do I DON'T WANT THEM. but they do look weird.

I just read Nash's spoiler post for what these things are, & it's just once more reason to stay in Peaceful mode; these guys are going to make Creepers look soft.

omg....just read the blog post O_O im scared, I think notch has been watching to many horror movies, Im scared just reading about it... *cowers in a corner*

It's like Notch sees into my daydreams and takes decent notes... Or doesn't want RPGs and chainsaws in Minecraft...
I want them to take my house and move it around or put my bed in the middle of the ocean when I sleep.
