well, it looks like it can pick up blocks and that it can throw them at you, of course that makes them even more dangerous. Another ranged mob, YAY!!! I wonder what they drop when you kill them.

It looks like it is picking up some sand? I have a fealing that it is a bit over powered if it can remove any block type. I think that it may only be able to remove "gravity effected blocks" as well as place them.

*sigh* guys please look up on minecraftwiki.net ENDERMEN. also try to read notches blog about them it is quite interesting

Also they dont throw sand or anything but they do move blocks... when putting crosshairs directlly at them they freeze and when u move the crosshairs they begin to charge. if you are too far from them they will teleport once per second until they are close to you

I found a .png file in the mob section while making a texture pack. it was called "silverfish" do you think that is the mistery mob?

So it means that i'll play Hide N' Seek with them!

Call it a Block Boogeyman! It certainly looks scary as ****! I think if I see one of these guys I will do a moonwalk back to the "safety" of my base. As long as they can't move/throw blocks while in attack mode we might be alright, otherwise we're screwed! ヅ How about they cant move or break through glass wood planks or smooth stone to things like obsidian or netherrack/soul sand (I've thought there should be more uses for those anyhow, a recipe or two would be nice like a pressure plate mobs couldn't activate). Certainly in 1.8 base security will now present more challenges than just keeping it well lit. If one of these Boogey's takes blocks from your roof and then a creeper jumps down.. I shudder at the thought!
