Just when you thought the telltale sizzle of a creeper right behind you or the tormented howl of a firing Ghast was scary.
Wow, minecraft is gonna be the most bad#&% thing ever by the November release if this keeps up, I can't wait to see what's in store.
Various unanswered questions for y'all to wonder about:
Any blocks they can't move? (I think one thing they could do is to make it so that it only moves generated blocks and not player-placed ones, or maybe it could only take dirt/grass/sand/gravel/etc., not stone)
Can they only hold one block at once before placing it? (That'd make them a bit less OP)
If you put your cursor on them through a wall, do they get mad? (Prolly not)
What if they're reeeeeeeeally far away, just barely close enough to see (or not even visible at all due to fog)? (I say several chunks away would be fine. If they only appear to be like 5 pixels tall, they shouldn't be able to see you, but the distance should still be quite far. Than again, if they're far away, you're less likely to point directly at them with your crosshairs.)
Drops? (No idea. I don't think it'd be ink sacs, that'd be a useless thing for them to drop.)
Sound(s)? (Probably none until angered [or maybe even after angered too], or just very faint cooing sounds/footsteps)
Do they make actual structures or just random stuff? (Your guess is as good as mine. Enderman villages and friendly villages? Massive wars? Who knows.)
Spawn rate? (Probably very low)
Spawn conditions? (Only night-time light level or lower, I forgot what that is.)
Burning in daylight? (Maybe, it'd be one way to make them a bit weaker, but I personally think they should survive in day time. Just for the scare factor.)
Damage? (Either normal or low. Probably like zombie damage, but maybe less in an effort to weaken them. Again, I think they should be pretty strong though.
Health? (Low, totally.)
Spawn only on Hard? (Configurable, maybe?)
Any Enderman dungeons? (Probably not, but they'd probably drop great stuff since they're so strong, making EM dungeons great for farming.)
I guess time will tell.

You people must not've seen the BIG PICTURE. There was an interesting new tree along with different water levels and maybe this shows that there may be a different kind of "Nightfall" or clouds.

You know I think the Enderman mobs should be kinda loud, they rustle about as they move, make all the popped blocked sounds, but when you look at them, they silence immediately, and stay quiet, even as they chase you. No footsteps, no angry grunts, even if they take damage they don't make a sound. Knowing me I'd also have them dim other sounds after you "look" at them. A 10% drop in sound volume would only make the experience worse.
