Are you kidding me ? Serioulsy, is notch going to rip off the Boos (the ghosts in Super Mario Bros. 3) behavior ? Damn, I thought Minecraft was somewhat original... but this is pure plagiarism in my opinion.
Commoooooon dude, read again before posting. You believe skeletons, spiders and zombies are original ideas ? REALLY ? Ghasts look like giant boos, why didn't you add this in your comment ?
Creepers are the only original mob in this game, and still, I wouldn't be surprised someone quotes a game or a movie that refers to a monster quite similar to creepers.
From what Notch said, Endermen already have everything needed to make them interesting mobs, I don't see the point about allowing them to hold blocks. I hope Notch just tested that feature but won't keep it.
Well, "notch" if you want creepy.. they should screech when you look at them.. also when they run they should run with ever increasing speed, in other words the longer they run the faster they go.
Finally there should be something that keeps you from just staring at them and feeling safe; they could multiply when you look at for to long or maybe they slowly start walking toward you as if they are just coming to check you out, but if you run they bum rush you
Love the Idea of a creepy monster in minecraft, makes the game fun.
PS: Night is way to easy at the moment for veterans, its too easy to just take out a 1x2 chunk out of the wall and put a door down to make a home maybe if a house isn't properly supported they should crumble very slightly occasionally?

Oh gosh..I'm already slightly paranoid of Slenderman, now my favorite game that I thought was safe have him there too lol. Oh well, it'll be a fun addition.
Fellas, all I can really say about this mob that I know of:
They pick up blocks, as you can obviously see, but they also place them down. They will randomly pick up and move blocks.
You know what the scarier thing is with them? Eye contact. Do not do it.
It's rumored that if you run your crosshairs over them, the moment you turn away, they will appear behind you and totally dominate you.
Lock your windows and doors children.
Maybe it's some kind of sentient being that has enough intelligence to build their own nest and possibly a civilization. I say this considering that it looks like it's holding the sand block. Maybe the NPCs aren't the only ones who are building civilizations ._.

How about the longer you look at it, the more distorted the screen gets.
Kind of like when you're in a nether portal, but much slower and without the purple color.
Also, a white noise/pink noise style ambient noise should start playing and getting slightly louder as the screen distorts, but not too loud. So it's like the enderman is slowly making you go insane as you stare into it's eyes.
it does not throw blocks at you or is specified to a biome if you look derectly at it it freezes in place with what ever it is doing then once you stop looking it runs at you you have a very little time to react once that happens.
They don't look like they want to attack though. Then again, it might be because they can't see him. I wonder if they're friendly, curious, or as most think of it, deadly/scary. O_o

it looks like something that will pick up soft blocks such as sand, gravel, and possibly dirt, hopefully not dirt, but what they do with the blocks i don't know, build suff,
