Notch just posted on Twitter about this Mob (I think, either this, or a new one). Of course, you all know that, because we are all watching Twitter form Notch 24/7, but he said they are called Endermen, and they are peaceful. If you look at them, they freeze, if you look away, they come after you, turning hostile. So... DO NOT LOOK AWAY. :smile.gif:

Darn it Skribbles_JR you beat me, well they're not Slenderman they're Enderemen, Just like skribbles said, and they run REALLY fast at you, so fast that they'll teleport to you.
I can care less about these mobs cause the day that notch reveals a mob that disguises its self as tree or something just keeps on getting closer and closer.
Notch revealed a screenshot of one of the new monsters for 1.8!

Seen here is a screenshot of a new monster in the works for 1.8. While Notch didn't specify exactly what it was, it seems fairly apparent that this new arrival in Minecraft isn't especially friendly-looking. What is it? What can it do? We will keep you updated as this information becomes available!

Guys if you read twitter, notch revealed that they are friendly as long as you don't directly at them! So just don't look at the scary, dark, "Endermen" and you will be fine.
