maybe they only spawn near mushrooms,OH NOES!now we'll have to deal with mushroom men!

i think the 1.8 new monster is aliens!

Two of them are holding blocks the one closest and on the left is holding a block of sand, and also if you look closely one of them second farthest from him is holding a block of dirt.So they can potentially pick up, destroy, and build with blocks...Oh god we're screwed....

well,giant mushrooms anyways,since were standing so close to one it looks like a tree

I hope when you die, they will pick up your items. We need another reason not to die.

it looks like either these new units can take blocks that are dropped or they can take blocks from structures and so on more than likely notch wont want monsters destroying player houses by taking block by block so my geuss is this creature will remove blocks that are not placed by the player who knows maybe they make traps or they make tunnels under your house w/e they do i doubt it will be good. if they steal blocks that are dropped there purpose seems very droll and useless because when a player dies he normally cant get to his items if you have beastys picking up items the player cant get to it is not much of a threat. although if a monster did that imagine what that could mean if monsters are collecting items they just might put all the items in treasure troves below the surface similar to dungeons but who knows.

I think that this is a NPC village? Maybe a hostile one?

Remeko its a mountain look on the right of our mushroom/tree entity and you will se a clearer continuation of the snowy mountain/cliff
